I'm not foolin' ya today. While I'm at my office staring at this for 8+ hours of my precious Friday...

...my mom is at our house working on turning this fabric...

...into pillows...

...and we'll be working on the Master Bedroom curtains this weekend too!

Katie @ JK Homestead: I am Katie. My husband, Joey, and I bought our first home in Kenosha, WI on May 27, 2010. Like many first time home buyers, this new responsibility made us a little anxious - yet very excited! And we wanted to make this home "us"! The house is old - built in 1928. We are young. And our goal is to bring some fresh youthfulness into its 1,750 square feet while still keeping some of the original charm. So, with a little sweat equity, and not a whole lot of moolah, we started the renovation process hoping to turn this old house into a young, vibrant home.
